Initial Billing Amounts

After you have added a payment method you then need to configure your initial billing settings. The three items you will select/modify are:

  • Initial credit amount
  • Minimum Balance Threshold
  • Recharge Amount

Initial Credit Amount

There are three options: $10, $25, $50. You must select one of these options to continue. This selection will signify the first initial charge we make against your payment method. Once successfully processed, we will add this amount to be your initial account balance.

Minimum Balance Threshold

This is a threshold that once your Account Balance gets below we trigger a recharge amount. One of the main reasons we don't allow this to be $0 is to ensure that if there are any billing issues with payments, there is enough time for you to resolve those errors. The minimum acceptable amount is $5.

Recharge Amount

This is the amount we will charge and credit your account after the Minimum Balance Threshold has been triggered. The minimum accepted amount is equal to or greater than your value in the Minimum Balance Threshold

Finalize the initial billing amounts

Once you have made your selections you can hit save. From there we make an initial charge and credit to your account. And you can deploy a Virtual Machine!
