Initial Billing Amounts

After a payment method is on file, set auto-recharge from Billing → Edit auto-recharge. You pick a payment method (credit card or crypto), a minimum balance, and a recharge amount.

Adding credits the first time

Use Add Credits on the Billing page and pay via credit card or crypto. That first deposit is your starting balance — there is no separate $10 / $25 / $50 picker.

Minimum Balance Threshold

When your balance drops below this amount, what happens depends on the payment method:

• Credit card — we trigger a recharge automatically.
• Crypto — we email you to add credits yourself. We cannot charge a wallet. If you ignore that email, instances terminate about 12 hours after the balance goes negative. See Crypto automatic payments.

The minimum is $5 so there is time to fix a failed card payment, or complete a crypto top-up, before instances stop.

Recharge Amount

For cards, the amount charged and credited when the threshold is hit. For crypto, a reminder of how much you usually add. It must be at least your minimum balance.

Save

Click Save on the auto-recharge dialog. After credits are on the account you can deploy a virtual machine.
